DiverLift Elevator

Our large high-capacity marine elevator transports divers and equipment in and out of the water with ease. No more ladders to climb with heavy equipment after a lengthy dive. Hop on the submersed platform and be effortlessly lifted back to deck level. DiverLift has a three-person, 1,500 pound capacity.

Moon Pool

A 16-square foot opening in the deck provides direct, crane-ready access to the water. Heavy objects such as mooring blocks, pipe and cable can be deployed and recovered from here. This location maximizes stability compared to ordinary boats that must delicately balance heavy objects over the gunwale or bow.

Custom Design

The unprecedented amount of deck space aboard DiveDock is your opportunity to organize and stage equipment, machinery, and supplies exactly where dive teams need them— not crammed in haphazardly like on ordinary boats. Specialized equipment can be pre-installed at the factory, such as cranes, generators, tow fish reels, and storage. DiveDock is delivered customized to your requirements and ready to launch.

TESTIMONIALS

Ocean

"DiveDock was instrumental to the success of the
search and recovery operation. DiveDock was able to comfortably accomodate the 15+ participants of the search, while providing a separate area for evidence collection and storage. Most importantly, DiveDock allowed for the Venturi pumping system to be operated in conjunction with a team of forensic anthropologists and archaeologists on a stable platform. The operation recovered dozens of human remains. The ease in which DiveDock navigated to the search area and the efficiency of its application was noted by all. The operation would not have been such a success without DiveDock."

An overview of DiveDock innovations.

ABOUT

Beginning in 2017, a diverse team of public safety divers and commercial diving instructors, recognized the need for an advanced dive boat built specifically to meet the specialized requirements of professional inland divers. First, this new vessel should have plenty of flat, open deck space to safely stage a full team of divers and their equipment. Second, the vessel must be easy to transport over the road. The current dive boat options have significant limitations. Utility boats fitted with a dive ladder and often called "dive boats" suffer from a severe lack of deck space. Their general purpose design is inadequate to support the technical requirements of a full team of divers and their equipment, such as sonar workstations, tow fish reels, surface air systems, and ROVs to name a few. Alternatively, work barges used for diving suffer from their
inability to be transported quickly over the road or water. Work barges can also introduce additional safety risks if there is other activity aboard such as crane work while dive operations are underway on the same vessel. Professional dive teams need a boat that provides the deck space, portability, safety, and other advanced features all together on the same boat. That boat is now called DiveDock.

Our first engineering breakthrough was inventing retractable decks that provide twice the amount of flat, open workspace than previously possible. Thanks to this innovation, DiveDock offers unprecedented 16' wide decks in the water that retract to a mere 8' wide over the road! Divers now have the deck space they need. Divers are also pleased to discover that the 16' beam smooths choppy water, providing an incredibly stable dive platform.

Next, we set out to make DiveDock easy to tow, launch, and land, even from truly terrible launch sites. We developed the world's first integrated towing system that eliminates the trailer, because the trailer components are built right into the boat. The wheels are raised in the water and lowered for towing. Ground clearance can now be adjusted on the fly to compensate for unexpected
slopes, angles, and obstacles found at launch ramps–– all with the push of a button on the wireless remote control. Previously difficult ramps are no longer a challenge. Now you can safely launch much closer to your dive site than ordinary boats ever could.
The built-in wheels are also a huge advantage when the weather turns bad: Lowering the wheels in shallow swift water can hold DiveDock in position without anchoring. Also, getting an ordinary boat back on its trailer in gusty winds is often difficult. With the DiveDock wheels
IMG_1446.JPG
lowered, landings become incredibly easy in any conditions. The wheels provide positive ground contact that minimizes the effects of wind or current. No more frustration trying to jockey an ordinary boat back onto its trailer in storms, winds, swift water, or at night. Just lower DiveDock's wheels and head to shore. Since there is no trailer to park, your launch and recovery sites can be at
different locations. The built-in tow system meets all state and USDOT registration requirements and special permits are not required.
We designed our sleek and wide DiverLift elevator at the bow to easily accommodate three divers at once with a 1,500-pound capacity. Getting heavy diving supplies to/from deck is effortless. Our innovative hydraulic-powered platform eliminates exposed wires or cables found on other lifts. Choose the platform size best-suited for your needs, up to 8'W x 4'D (that's huge). The platform also quickly folds out of the way when not in use.
Many dive operations require direct water access from midship. That's why DiveDock features a 4' x 4' moon pool, easily accessed by lifting its cover panel on deck. Divers can now easily deploy scientific equipment for aquatic research from the center of the boat, rather than over the gunwales of most boats. Heavy objects can also be deployed/recovered
using a gantry crane positioned over the moon pool.
Adding up all of these innovative features including retractable work decks, highway portability, built-in trailering, launch ramp adjustabilityswift-water stability, DiverLift elevator, and moon pool, it becomes clear why DiveDock is uniquely capable of helping your team with the broadest array of dive operations like no other boat. At DiveDock, we are dedicated to building the finest professional dive boats worthy of your trust every day on the water.
